Wireless I/O from
Elpro Technologies
Wireless I/O products are available in both licensed and license-free radio bands.
Wireless I/O connects directly to analog, discrete and pulse transducer signals. The signals are transmitted by radio using ELPRO's intelligent WIB-net wireless protocol. The signals are either re-created as 4-20 madc output signals, or output via serial link, or Modbus into PLC's and other devices. Honeywell has a great reference source available called "Gas Book". If your plant is exposed to flammable gases this book is loaded with useful information about Lower Flammable Limits, or Lower Explosive Limits for hundreds of compounds. If your plant is exposed to toxic gases this gas book has all the Workplace Exposure Limits (WEL), Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL) and threshold limits (TLV) for many common compounds.
